Worst automotive experience of my life. A simple repair turns into hundreds of dollars. Took it for a second opinion and guess what! These so called repairs didn't need to be done! The owner is very rude and will lie straight to your face. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Came in for out of province inspection and was told my brakes vibrated badly, they didn't, and were too rusty, sure there was some rust but they worked great . Therefore, they 'needed' to be replaced and was quoted 1000 $. I took my car elsewhere and was told my brakes should not have failed the inspection. I got them replaced anyways for half of what they quoted me. I came back for the reinspection and was told I needed new rear callipers and was quoted 800$! I went back to the same guy and the callipers were fine! Do not use a plus automotive, huge money grab with inflated prices.

Scott -we apologize for any miscommunication we might have had ,the reason your brakes were called was because we felt the extreme rust on the rear rotors would compromise the braking abilities of the brake pads, ,the front rotors where also rusted but we said we would let them pass ,the quote you received was for front and rear brakes and rotors, with only the rear needing to be done. When you returned with your brakes done the right rear brake was sticking on and you could barely move the wheel, we brought you out and showed you the problem and discussed that it was most likely the brake caliper or parking brake that was causing the issue , we gave you an estimate for replacing both rear calipers at $400.00 not $800.00 if that is what was needed ,you decided you would take back to the mechanic that did the job to see what was done wrong ,when you returned you said that he had found something and repaired what was holding the brake on, we inspected and found everything to be ok - had we been given the chance to inspect the sticky brake we are sure we would have found the problem and the calipers would not have been replaced ,if you have any concerns feel free to give us a call

Our family has trusted A Plus Auto with our vehicles for some time. We had just recently purchased a vehicle and had been experiencing problems. We brought in our vehicle to Steve, and received only the best, honest, and most helpful advice. I cannot say enough positive thing about this company and the people who work there. The owner is extremely rude and doesn't know how to treat people, let alone his customers. He has a very short temper and doesn't like to be questioned. I never had the chance to deal with his staff so I can't really speak for the entire business, but the owner/boss/team leader is a total jerk. There's plenty of decent locally owned shops in Kelowna - pick a different one for your maintenance/repair needs! They clearly didn't get their name from a grading system! A+ my a**!

The owner had called me and was extremely rude after I asked him to clarify a few questions about the problem with my truck. Upon asking these questions he began to tell me that he had already told me 2 or 3 times what was wrong. I proceeded by telling him he had horrible customer service skills and I told him I was coming down to get my truck and I hung up. Immediately after hanging up he called back and said you do not get the truck until you pay the bill and he made a remark that was something to the effect that "NOBODY TALKS TO ME THIS WAY" and then he hung up on me. So I waited an hour or so to cool off and find a mediator to bring with me because I was sure that it was going to be a heated exchange when I went there to pay the bill and get my keys. An hour or so passes and I go down there with my father! We walk into the office and there is only one guy on the phone, we wait patiently till he is done and hangs up the phone, then I say are you ******? To which he reply's yes and I say "you sure have a way with word's" immediately after I say that he jumps up and starts yelling at me and we began to exchange words and at one point he got right up in my face to try to intimidate me and he was continually telling me to get out and a couple times I felt he was about to try to drag me outside. I kept telling him all I want to do is pay and I will leave. He threatened to call the cops and I said good, you are holding my truck for no reason! All this was going on when there was an elderly lady waiting to be helped. The reason he kept yelling while she was in there was because he thought we she was my mom. So apparently it is OK to scream and cuss in front of an elderly woman as long as that woman is my mom! After this owner showed his true colors and how he feels about his customers and how he is I would not recommend this garage to anyone!!!!!

They were extremely friendly, went out of their way to fix our car a few hours after we phoned without even making an appointment! Don't just go to the nearest place, they are worth it! Definitely recommend. Thanks Colin!
